Day 01: Mumbai
Arrive Mumbai airport and you will be meet and assisted and transferred to hotel. Rest of the day free or do your own activities. Overnight in hotel.
Day 02: Mumbai
Morning visit the Elephanta Caves – located across the sea from the Gateway of India and accessible by ferry is the island of Elephant that has 1200 years old rock-cut cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Afternoon half day city tour of Mumbai visiting the nearby Gateway of India and the famous Taj Hotel. Next we visit a shooting spot of slumdog Millionaire at the old Victoria Terminus, stroll up to local Crawford Market, admire Mumbai’s marvellous colonial architecture at the High Court, the University of Mumbai & Prince of Wales Museum with its fascinating Indo-Saracenic exterior. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Mumbai – Bangalore (By Air)
Morning after breakfast transfer to airport to broad the flight for Bangalore and upon arrival check in to hotel.
In the afternoon you will be taken for city tour of Bangalore visiting the Vidhan Saudha – Government Secretariat, The Lal Bagh, Cobbon botanical Garden and Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Bangalore – Mysore (150 Kms, 3 hrs drive)
0800 hrs you will be picked up from your Hotel and driven to Mysore enroute visit ‘Srirangapatnam’ the capital of warrior King Hyder Ali and his son King Tipu Sultan and check in at your Hotel. Rest of the day free to relax or do your own activities
In the evening visit Vrindavan with its musical colour water fountain. Overnight at hotel
Day 05: Mysore
0900 hrs you will be taken for city tour of Mysore visiting Maharaja Palace and Government House. Later we take you to Chamundi hills to explore Chamundeswari Temple & Nandi Bull, Shri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery that is housed in the Jagmohan Palace and has a collection of exquisite paintings dating back to the year 1875. St. Philomena’s Church that was built in the Gothic style is one of the largest churches in India. Rest of the day free for relax. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Mysore – Hassan (130 Kms, 3 hrs drive)
Morning after breakfast drive to Hassan via enroute visit Sravanbelogada (massive statue of Lord Gomteshwara) (Vishnu). Visit the Chenna Kesava temple, Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temples in Belur and Halebid. On arrival check in to hotel. Overnight at hotel
Day 07: Hassan – Coorg (140 Kms, 3 hrs drive)
Morning drive to Coorg also known as the Scotland of India, where we visit a coffee plantation. The Coorgies are known to be the descendants of Greek soldiers. On arrival check in to hotel for overnight.
Day 08: Coorg – Calicut (180 Kms, 5hrs drive)
After breakfast we drive through the thickest rainforest of India, to Calicut (Kozhikode in Kerala). Upon arrival check in at your hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight.
Day 09: Calicut – Cochin (200 Kms, 5 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Kochi, enroute visiting the construction of DHOW, a typical Kerala hand made boat. We will travel along the coast line and cross various water streams running into the ocean and the back waters coming into the land. The drive is a very eventful one. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Cochin
Morning flight to Cochin . On arrival you are met and escorted to your hotel. Afternoon a half-day tour of Cochin City visiting Fort Cochin, Mattancherry Palace, Parikshith Thampuram Museum, etc. Evening enjoy a Kathakali Dance show. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Cochin – Alleppey (65 Kms, 1 hrs drive)
Today morning you will be driven to Alleppey jetty point to aboard a traditional Kettuvallam houseboat. Enjoy ethnic Lunch and Dinner on houseboat.
Rest day at leisure. Sit back, relax and unwind as your house boat cruises slowly thru’ narrow Canals & Backwater where you will see Paddy fields, Villages, Temples, Churches, Coconut palm fringed Islands

Day 12: Alleppey – Kovalam (160 Kms, 4 hrs drive)
Enjoy breakfast and sunrise whilst cruising. Later in the morning you will be picked up from Alleppey jetty point and driven to Kovalam. Upon arrival in Kovalam check in at your hotel.
Rest of the day free to relax or do your own activities Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Kovalam
0900 hrs Today morning you will be taken for city tour of Kovalam visiting Padmanabha Swamy Temple & Napier Museum & Sri Chitra Art Gallery. Rest of the day at leisure by the beach. Overnight at hotel
Day 14: Kovalam – Periyar (205 Kms, 5 hrs drive)
Drive to Periyar, the most famous wild life sanctuary of South India. As you drive through the Blue Hills you will see thick rubber plantations, tea plantations, and cardamom & pepper growing all along the road side. Enjoy the winding roads and the landscape. Later we take you for Spice Plantation tour. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Periyar
0600 hrs you will be taken for boat ride (on sharing basis) inside Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to sight some of the rarest flora and fauna. In the afternoon jungle safari to watch the wild life. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Periyar – Madurai (145 Kms, 3 hrs drive)
Morning after breakfast drive by surface from Periyar to Madurai and upon arrival check in at hotel. In the afternoon you will be taken for tour of Madurai visiting ‘Sri Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayakar Palace & Gandhi Museum & in the evening join the chanting priests, drummers and torchbearers at the buzzing Sri Meenakshi. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16: Madurai – Thanjavur – Pondicherry (324 Kms, 7 hrs drive)
Morning drive by surface from Madurai to Pondicherry via enroute visit Thanjavur with its Museum (finest Bronze collections) and proceed drive to Pondicherry. Upon arrival check in at your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 17: Pondicherry – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (110 Kms, 2-3 hrs drive)
Morning after breakfast drive by surface from Pondicherry to Mahabalipuram via Kanchipuram the erstwhile capital of the Pallava and Chola rulers and upon arrival Mahabalipuram check in at your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 18: Mahabalipuram
Morning after breakfast you will be taken for half day tour visiting Mahaballipuram – Shore Temple, The Group of five Rathas Temples, rock-cut monoliths & Mahaballipuram Beach Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 19: Mahabalipuram – Chennai
Today morning you will be picked up from your Hotel and driven to ‘Chennai’ and visit the Saint Thomas Cathedral, Fort St. George (now the secretariat) and the High Court buildings. After tour drop off at Chennai Airport to onward flight. End of the
